The presented standard is a product standard for tools for electrical components. The committee responsible for the standard is NA 140-00-14-02 UA "Ein- und Ausbauwerkzeuge" ("Tools for electrical connectors") of the Electrical Engineering Standards Committee (NE) at DIN. This standard is valid in connection with VG 95236-6. The tools are applicable for tightening and releasing of bolted connectors during their installation and removal. Tools according to this standard are subject to a quality approval test according to VG 95211.
