Overview
This standard is a product standard for heat-shrinkable components. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 140-00-02 AA "Wärmeschrumpfende Bauelemente und Isoliermaterialien" ("Heat shrinkable components and insulation material") of DIN Standards Committee Electrical Engineering (NE). This standard is applicable in connection with VG 95343-2 to connector endshells without inner coating which are used as endshells with electrical plug connectors. Heat shrinkable connector end housings without internal coating in accordance with this standard are subject to type testing in accordance with VG 95211. Heat shrinkable connector end housings in accordance with this standard can be used at ambient temperatures from -75 °C to +150 °C.
