The presented standard is a selection standard for mounting parts. The committee responsible for the standard is NA 140-00-17-04 UA "Befestigungs- und Kennzeichnungsteile" ("Mounting and marking parts") of the Electrical Engineering Standards Committee (NE) at DIN. This standard applies in connection with the generic specification VG 95387-2 for holding devices for ties, they can be used at operating temperatures -40 °C to +85 °C. Holding devices according to this standard are subject to qualification approval according to VG 95211.
