Products conforming to this standard are subject to type testing in accordance with VG 95211. This document has been prepared at DIN Standards Committee Shipbuilding and Marine Technology (NSMT), Working Committee NA 132-02-08 AA "Fluidschläuche" ("Tubes for fluids"). This document is applicable to hose assemblies manufactured low-temperature hoses in accordance with this document and to be supplied to the German armed forces. It is also applicable to other hose assemblies, provided reference is made to it in the relevant delivery specifications (for example, Technical Terms of Delivery) or procurement documents (such as drawings). This document is not applicable to hose assemblies intended for use in aircraft and aviation equipment. In the document, both units MPa and bar are selected for reasons of practical relevance.
