The VG standard describes the requirements for the cleaning of hoses and hose assemblies. In particular, it describes cleaning procedures of hose assemblies for oils, fuels, hydraulics and water for the outer layer as well as the inner layer. The measures to be taken after use and/or for storage are documented. Installed hose assemblies and hose assemblies in aircraft are excluded. The requirements for used hose assemblies for potable water regarding disinfection were taken into account.
