Overview

This standard applies to multiple clamps in block from used to hold several pipes - (3 to 6) -, also of different diameters, in confined spaces. Numerous types (designs) are documented in the standard with images, for example type AK (multiple clamp with cover and weld plate and hexagon head bolt, short design or quintuple clamp type AL, inside area type G (ALG) or the sextuple clamp type AK, inside area type E (AKE). For all types, tables for dimensions, parts list, material and also designation, with an example, are compiled in the VG standard. This standard has been prepared by the DIN Shipbuilding and Marine Technology Standards Committee (NSMT), Working Committee NA 132-02-08 AA "Fluidschläuche" ("Tubes for fluids").
