This document has been prepared by DIN Standards Committee Shipbuilding and Marine Technology (NSMT), Working Committee NA 132-02-07 AA "Betankungs- und Pipelineschläuche" ("Hoses for fuelling and pipelines". This document is applicable to hose fittings used to produce hose assemblies in pipeline-technology. The NATO pipeline system requires fittings according to the listed Technical Specification (TS) to be used. For further details, see Annex A. This document does not apply to hose assemblies intended for use in aircraft and aeronautical equipment.
