This Amendment 1 represents a modification to detail standard VG 96912-1 for connectors. This standard is applicable in conjunction with VG 95319-2 and the standards of the VG 96912 series for connectors without protective contact and without protection against contact, with rated voltages up to 25 V AC and 60 V DC. Components according to this standard are subject to approval in accordance with VG 95211. Committee NA 140-00-14-01 UA "Steckverbinder und Steckvorrichtungen" ("Electrical connectors and plug-and-socket devices") at DIN Standards Committee Electrical Engineering (NE) is responsible for this standard.
