The responsible committee for the standard is NA 140-00-04 AA "Konfektionierte elektrische Kabel und Leitungen" ("Assemblies of electrical cables and insulated wires") at DIN Standards Committee Electrical Engineering (NE). This standard is applicable to cable assemblies with five connecting lines in connection with VG 96927-2. Cable assemblies according to this standard are subject to type test according to VG 95211.
