The responsible committee for the standard is NA 140-00-04 AA "Konfektionierte elektrische Kabel und Leitungen" ("Assemblies of electrical cables and insulated wires") at DIN Standards Committee Electrical Engineering (NE). This standard is applicable in connection with the generic standard VG 96927-2 to weapon system overlapping screened cable assemblies. Components according to this standard are subject to type test according to VG 95211.
