Overview

This standard is a detail standard for monostable heavy load relays. The standard applies in conjunction with VG 96928-2 for 200 A heavy load relays for system voltages up to DC 24 V according to VG 96916-5 and DC 24 V according to RTCA DO-160D. Relays in accordance with this standard can be used at ambient temperatures from -55 °C to 85 °C. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 140-00-16 AA "Relais" ("Relays") at DIN Standards Committee Electrical Engineering. Relays according to this standard are subject to approval in accordance with VG 95211.
