Components that comply with this standard are subject to approval in accordance with VG 95211. The responsible committee for the standard is NA 140-00-14-01 UA "Steckverbinder und Steckvorrichtungen" ("Electrical connectors and plug-and-socket devices") at DIN Standards Committee Electrical Engineering (NE).
