Overview
The presented standard is a product standard for tools for electrical connection elements. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 140-00-14-04 UA "Kabelschuhe und Verbinder" ("Electrical connection elements") of the Electrical Engineering Standards Committee (NE) at DIN. This standard applies in conjunction with generic standard VG 96933-2 for end-sleeves for cores. They prevent the fanning out of the single wires of copper strands and make the insertion of copper strands into terminals easier. End-sleeves for cores according to this standard are subject to qualification approval according to VG 95211.
