This standard is applicable in connection with VG 95319-2, VG 96949-1 and VG 96949-2 for USB 3.0 Type A connectors (Universal Serial Bus) for data transmissions up to 4,8 Gbit/s, IP 67, up to 5 V rated voltage. Connectors according to this standard can be used at ambient temperatures of -40 °C to 85 °C.
