This document is a product standard in the field of "earthing arrangements". The standards in the VG 96953 series specify requirements for equipment used throughout the German Armed Forces to establish earthing for stationary and mobile systems and devices. Earthing arrangements according to this document are subject to approval in accordance with VG 95211. VG 96953-13 specifies requirements for connectors made of metal strips. Subcommittee NA 140-00-17-06 UA "Erdungsmaterial" ("Earthing arrangements") at DIN Standards Committee Electrical Engineering (NE) is responsible for this document.
