The DIN EPD programme offers a wide range of Product Category Rules (PCRs) for various industries and product categories. These PCRs can be used directly as the basis for developing Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). They are approved within the DIN EPD programme and meet the requirements for the development of an EPD in accordance with the relevant standards.
Before developing a new methodological rule, first check whether a suitable PCR already exists for your product.

Existing PCRs from other programmes can also be reviewed and, if deemed suitable, adopted within the DIN EPD programme.
