Consultation process for developing the Programme instructions of the DIN EPD programme


The Programme instructions for the DIN EPD programm were drawn up through an open consultation process involving relevant stakeholders and the Advisory committee. 
 

Timeline for the consultation process

The composition of the stakeholder groups involved is disclosed transparently in order to ensure the traceability of the process.

The participation process included a structured commenting phase and accompanying workshops. The feedback received was evaluated and incorporated into the revision of the  Programme instructions of the DIN EPD programme.

19 organizations submitted comments, distributed across the stakeholder groups shown.

Participation in the workshops
54 people took part in topic specific workshops on environmental protection/consumer protection, verification, as well as in the final workshop (multiple participation in more than one session included).
