Short description

The AD 2000-Merkbätter of the HP series cover the rules for the design and manufacture of pressure vessels and pressure vessel components subjected to static or predominantly static loads, as well as housings for equipment components and their connection to non-pressure-bearing parts. They follow on from the AD 2000-Merkbätter in the W series and specify the tests required before, during, and after manufacture by the competent independent body or by the manufacturer. For piping, the AD 2000-Merkbätter HP 100 R, HP 110 R, HP 120 R, and HP 512 R apply. For housings of equipment components, AD 2000-Merkblatt A 4 must also be observed. For non-metallic materials, the AD 2000-Merkbätter of the N series must also be observed.
