This AD 2000-Merkblatt, in supplement to AD 2000-Merkblatt HP 0, specifies the type and scope of non-destructive testing, the evaluation of indications in welded joints of pressure vessels and pressure-bearing pressure vessel components, and the supervision of the tests. The procedural requirements for non-destructive testing methods are specified in Annex 1 to this AD 2000-Merkblatt. This AD 2000-Merkblatt applies only to pressure vessels under static loading. For pressure vessels under pulsating loading as defined in AD 2000-Merkblatt HP 801 No. 15, AD 2000-Merkblatt S 1 or AD 2000-Merkblatt S 2 apply in addition.
