Short description

This AD 2000-Merkblatt applies to flat products (sheet, strip, wide flat steel) made of unalloyed and alloyed ferritic steels for the construction of pressure vessels that are operated at operating temperatures as well as at ambient temperatures ranging from -10 °C up to the upper temperature limits specified in the bulletin. For operating temperatures below -10 °C, AD 2000-Merkblatt W 10 also applies. For flat products made of austenitic steels, AD 2000-Merkblatt W 2 applies. For clad sheet, AD 2000-Merkblatt W 8 shall be applied. The basic requirements for materials and material manufacturers are specified in AD 2000-Merkblatt W 0.
