Short description

This AD 2000-Merkblatt applies to seamless and welded pipes made of unalloyed and alloyed ferritic steels for the construction of pressure vessels operated at operating temperatures as well as at ambient temperatures ranging from −10 °C up to the upper temperature limits specified in the technical data sheet. Additional provisions apply to the use of pipes as pressure vessel shells. For operating temperatures below −10 °C, AD 2000-Merkblatt W 10 also applies. For pipes made of austenitic steels, AD 2000-Merkblatt W 2 applies. The basic requirements for materials and material manufacturers are specified in AD 2000-Merkblatt W 0.
