Overview

A safety role and a safety plan shall be available on passenger ships in accordance with EU Directive 2006/87/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 12 December 2006 laying down technical requirements for inland waterway vessels and repealing Council Directive 82/714/EEC 1. The standard DIN 80000 has been prepared as an aid for the establishment of a safety role and a safety plan on passenger ships. This Supplement 1 to DIN 80000 shows an example of a safety role and a safety plan. It serves to illustrate the specifications in DIN 80000 and does not contain any additional specifications.
