This Supplement contains the decisions and interpretations exclusively for the standard DIN EN 60335-2-17 (VDE 0700-17). A compilation of all decisions on the general part DIN EN 60335-1 (VDE 700-1) and on all other parts 2 has been published as DIN CLC/TR 50417 (VDE 0700-700):2015-10. As with the standard, the supplement of DIN EN 60335-1 (VDE 0700-1) shall always be taken into account in addition to the supplement of the relevant Part 2. The responsible committee is UK 511.9 "Schmiegsame Wärmegeräte" ("Flexible heating appliances") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
