This Supplement contains the decisions and interpretations exclusively for the standard DIN EN 60335-2-89 (VDE 0700-89). A compilation of all decisions on the general part DIN EN 60335-1 (VDE 700-1) and all other Parts 2 has been published as DIN CLC/TR 50417 (VDE 0700-700):2015-10. As with the standard, the supplement of DIN EN 60335-1 (VDE 0700-1) shall always be taken into account in addition to the supplement of the relevant Part 2. The committee responsible is DKE/ UK 511.5 "Geräte mit kältetechnischen Systemen" ("Appliances with refrigeration systems") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
