Overview
This document deals with circuit-breakers for overcurrent protection for household and similar installations up to a rated voltages (see 6.3) of 440 VAC in accordance with DIN EN 60898-1 (VDE 0641-11) and up to rated voltage of AC/DC 400 V in accordance with DIN EN 60898-2 (VDE 0641-12). It provides the user (for example, electrician and electrical planner, ...) with additional information on the application of circuit breakers for overcurrent protection within the framework of installation regulations. The responsible committee is Subcommittee UK 541.2 "Kleine Selbstschalter" ("Miniature circuit-breakers") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
