This Supplement contains information for interpreting the specifications of DIN EN 61000-3-3 (VDE 0838-3). This information is intended to reduce measurement uncertainty due to fluctuations in the test voltage source used during flicker measurement, which affect the result of the measured short-term flicker severity. The standard IEC 61000-3-3 (EN 61000-3-3) contains specifications for voltage changes, voltage fluctuations and flicker caused by electrical and electronic devices and equipment with a rated current < 16 A per phase, intended for connection to a public low-voltage power supply network and not subject to any special connection condition. The standard differs from DIN EN 61000-3-3 Supplement 1 (VDE 0838-3 Supplement 1):2021-07 as follows: a) this updated Supplement contains additions that have arisen from discussions in IEC SC 77A/WG2, internationally responsible for IEC 61000-3-3.
This document replaces DIN EN 61000-3-3 Beiblatt 1:2021-07; VDE 0838-3 Beiblatt 1:2021-07 .
