Overview

This part of IEC 61869 applies to inductive current transformers for protective purposes that meet the requirements of IEC 61869-2. It can provide manufacturers of relays and current transformers, as well as project engineers, with a more accurate impression of how current transformers respond to simplified or standardized short-circuit signals. To this end, this part provides further information to cover both the definition of inductive current transformers and the requirements placed on them. Corrigendum 1 to IEC/TR 61869-100:2017-01 corrects the first and second equations and the legend in 6.1.3.3.
