This document (ISO/TR 1281-1:2008) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 4/SC 8 "Road ratings and life", the secretariat of which is held by DIN (Germany). This document is the German language version of ISO/TR 1281-1:2008. Clauses 4 and 11 of ISO/TR 1281-2:2008 have been added to National Annexes NA and NB. The responsible German Committee is Working Committee NA 118-01-08 AA "Tragzahlen und Lebensdauer" ("Load ratings and life") of the Rolling Bearings and Plain Bearings Standards Committee (NAWGL). This document also contains Corrigendum ISO/TR 1281-1:2008/Cor 1. This part of ISO/TR 1281 gives supplementary background information regarding the derivation of mathematical expressions and factors given in ISO 281:2007 "Rolling bearings - Dynamic load ratings and rating life". With respect to DIN ISO 281, Supplement 2:1994-09, the following changes have been made: a) the references in 4.5.1 and 4.5.2 for the calculation of B1 have been corrected; b) Clauses 4 and 11 of ISO/TR 1281-2:2008 have been added to National Annexes NA and NB; c) the normative references have been updated; d) the standard has been editorially revised.
