This document contains the general principles and requirements for the safety, serviceability and durability in the design and construction of commercial production greenhouses for commercial plant and crop production. This Technical Report contains rules for the planning, design, execution and utilization of commercial production greenhouses. The specific provisions in this document supplement, and do not contradict, the specifications laid down in the Eurocodes (DIN EN 1990 to DIN EN 1999). Fire protection aspects are not covered in this document. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 005-08-25 AA "Gewächshausbau (SpA zu CEN/TC 284)" ("Greenhouses (national mirror committee for CEN/TC 284)") at DIN e. V.
