Overview
This DIN SPEC has been prepared by a DIN SPEC consortium (temporary committee) in the course of the PAS procedure. The preparation and adoption of this DIN SPEC has been carried out by the authors named in the foreword. This document defines characteristics for the assessment and classification of the circularity of newly produced furniture and places these in a system of characteristics that takes into account the various life phases of a piece of furniture. All phases from design to end of life are covered. For example, parts of the document may be applicable to repaired or refurbished furniture. The system of characteristics is applicable to all types of furniture and customer areas.
