Document series DIN SPEC 69874 is intended to allow users and manufacturers the collaboration in the field of electronic data exchange of graphical product information. This includes in particular simplified communication in the documentation phase - namely on the basis of 2D drawings. This document specifies the single elements required for the preparation of 2D documentation and the preparation for automated creation of drawings. DIN SPEC 69874-1 and DIN SPEC 69874-3 cancel and replace Specification VDMA 34190:2011-08.
