This DIN SPEC was developed in accordance with the PAS procedure within a workshop (temporary committee). The document was developed and approved by the authors named in the foreword. This DIN SPEC defines a uniform structure for logbooks of renewable energy plants. This forms the basis for the IT-supported logbook - an essential prerequisite for further process improvements during the operation and maintenance of renewable energy plants. The DIN SPEC takes into account relevant standards and guidelines, for example on the installation, product and document structure. The structuring principle of the logbook is fundamentally applicable to all types of technical plants.
