This DIN SPEC has been prepared within the framework of the "IKT 2020 application-oriented strategic cooperation between business and science in the innovation field of information and communication technologies" in the research project "EUMONIS - software and system platform for energy and environmental monitoring systems" and by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung, BMBF) promoted. This DIN SPEC was has been prepared according to the PAS procedure. The drafting and approval was carried out by the authors named in the foreword. The aim of this DIN SPEC is the standardized representation of communication in order to be able to integrate all relevant communication participants into the EUMONIS platform. In the context of this DIN SPEC, no information content or data models are considered. For this purpose - as far as possible - existing standards such as DIN EN 61850-7 and DIN EN 61400-25 for operating data of wind turbines or various labelling systems for component data are used and possibly expanded with corresponding additional information. The target groups of this DIN SPEC include manufacturers of energy generation systems, energy supply companies, network operators, energy park operators and all service providers who are involved in the operation of energy generation systems with corresponding IT systems (for example from the areas of technical management, maintenance and repair, condition Monitoring, data analysis, meteorology, data archiving).
