This DIN SPEC in accordance with the PAS procedure was developed within a workshop (temporary committee) set up on a temporary basis. The document was developed and approved by the authors named in the foreword. The DIN SPEC is intended to characterize the basic performance parameters of cold atmospheric pressure plasma sources to be used for bio-medical or biological experiments and for further development to become medically applicable plasma sources.
