Overview

This document provides a guideline for a characteristic-based classification of the degree of participation in data spaces. This classification serves to review whether a company's own expectations and use cases meet the requirements for participating in data-based value creation platforms in the industrial services sector. The initial target audience for these guidelines consists specifically of suppliers and customers in the value creation industrial services sector. This DIN SPEC was developed using the PAS procedure. The development of DIN SPECs using the PAS procedure takes place within DIN SPEC consortia and does not necessarily involve all interested parties. This DIN SPEC has been prepared according to the PAS procedure. The development of a DIN SPEC according to the PAS procedure is carried out in DIN-SPEC-consortiums and does not require the participation of all stakeholders.
