Published in 2026, ISO/PAS 45007 provides specific guidelines and measures for addressing climate-related occupational health and safety risks. As a supplement to existing OH&S management systems, it supports organizations in systematically assessing the impacts of climate change and deriving appropriate measures for occupational health and safety. The practical handbook explains the necessary fundamentals and shows how the requirements can be integrated into existing management systems.
The publication consists of two complementary focal points. First, the requirements of ISO/PAS 45007 are explained along the structure of the standard; second, practical implementation within a management system according to DIN EN ISO 45001 is presented. The focus is on risk management, climate adaptation, emergency management and the continuous improvement of occupational health and safety processes.
The first part of the book explains the fundamentals, impacts and areas of application of ISO/PAS 45007. In the second part, the requirements are mapped to Clauses 4 to 10 of DIN EN ISO 45001. Practical examples, key figures and explanations illustrate the interaction between the two sets of rules and support companies in successful implementation.
Occupational safety specialists, company physicians, professionals responsible for HSE and sustainability management, managers with personnel responsibility, and organizations with management systems according to DIN EN ISO 45001.
