Short description
This guideline is concerned with uniform measurement, interpretation and evaluation of the vibration exposure of employees in workplaces in buildings in which vibration transfers to the individual via the floor. In this case vibration input locations in the human body might be the feet or the buttocks. This guideline also applies analogously to workplaces in the open air. Guideline VDI 2057 Part 3 is not to be applied to immission control within the meaning of the Federal Ambient Pollution Control Act. This subject is dealt with in DIN 4150-2.
