Short description
Various processes are available for the additive manufacturing of ceramic parts. Each of these pro-cesses has specific potentials and limitations. To be able to evaluate the method and the corresponding process suitable for a given part, test specimens for the additive manufacturing of ceramic parts are defined in this standard. The test specimens can be combined and adapted to the requirements of the process used in each case. This standard is aimed at equipment manufacturers, service providers and users in the field of AM of ceramic parts who wish to check and specify the manufacturability of critical geometries. Due to the similarity in process technology, many geometries can also be used to characterise powder-metallurgical AM parts.
