The facility-specific measurement instructions given in this guideline apply to the complete VDI guideline series for the wood machining and processing industry, i.e. Rough timber working (VDI 3462 Part 1), Production of wood-based panels (VDI 3462 Part 2), Machining and processing of wood and woodbased panels (VDI 3462 Part 3), Combustion of wood and wood-based panels not containing wood preservatives and halogenated organic compounds (VDI 3462 Part 4), Combustion of wood and wood-based panels containing wood preservatives and/or halogenated organic compounds (VDI 3462 Part 5) These measurement instructions apply to all facilities in the wood machining and processing industry regardless of whether or not they are subject to a permit. Reference is made to the laws, ordinances, administrative and other regulations applicable to the construction and operation of the specific facilities.
