Short description

This document deals with the scrubbing of waste gases which are contaminated by gaseous air-polluting substances. The primary field of application is the reduction of organic emission components which are sufficiently quickly biologically degradable and of hydrogen sulphide and ammonia. The process serves to reduce emissions which, in view of their effect characteristics, represent a potential health hazard and/or cause annoyance.
