Short description

The checklist in standard VDI 3783 Part 13 gives many criteria to test the used meteorological data. Currently it is nearly impossible to check this list completely. The reason often is a missing or incomplete documentation of the data. This standard defines the specification of the meteorological data, its acquisition, the data processing into a format compatible to the technical instruction on air quality control (TA Luft), which derives from the technical instructions on air quality control, the ambient air guideline on odour (GIRL) and the standard VDI 3783 Part 13. The standard fills the existing gap in quality assurance of dispersion modelling.
