Short description
The standard applies to the planning and dimensioning of electrical electricity storage systems for use in buildings connected to the distribution grid in accordance with VDE-AR-N 4105 and VDE-AR-N 4110. The main focus is on applications for optimising energy costs and relieving the load on the grid. The scope includes storage systems in the electrical power class from one to several hundred kW power or kWh capacity. This standard is aimed at all stakeholders who have contact with issues relating to building energy systems, including building services planning companies, energy consultants, planning and installation companies, as well as manufacturing companies of electrical generation plants and storage systems.
