This guideline applies to the measurement techniques and tests named below where carried out in the context of hygiene checks and hygiene inspections in accordance with VDI 6022 Part 1. It supplements the guideline VDI 6022 Part 1 by specifying test methods for microbiological sampling and laboratory analyses of water, air and surface samples as well as the determination of the dust surface density. The methods are to be applied for hygiene checks and hygiene inspections, and are to be carried out by qualified personnel.
