Short description

The document applies to point and imaging sensors used in coordinate measuring machines with optical probes and also applies in the context of the stipulations in Part 6. It describes the measuring methods and describes the optical influences which lead to probing deviations both generally and sensor-specific. It gives information on how to avoid or minimize these deviations and supplements the acceptance and reverification test procedures.
