Short description

This guideline describes procedures, influence quantities affecting the uncertainty of measurement and calibration certificates evidencing the calibration of angle measuring instruments in which the angle is measured indirectly or is defined as a measurand determined by computation proportional to the rotation angle. In most cases, measuring instruments of this kind are a combination of torque/angle transducer systems with lever arm, so-called referenceless torque/angle wrenches.
