Short description
The document applies to the determination of the uncertainty of measurement in the calibration of measuring equipment for geometrical quantities (for electrical quantities see VDI/VDE/DGQ/DKD 2622 Part 2). Basically, the methods described are also applicable to the determination of uncertainty in measurements using calibrated measuring equipment. They are based on Uncertainty in Measurement (GUM) but are described in a simplified manner for practical application.
