Short description

This standard creates a uniform terminology for force transducers which allows technical data to be compared and shall be applied in data sheets and publications. By the definitions the user is enabled above all to obtain sufficiently detailed information for the selection and appropriate use of force transducers. Some of the definitions relate specifically to force transducers operating on the strain gauge principle, whereas others are applicable to force transducers with integrated amplifier electronics.
