Short description
This standard applies to cover the electricity, heating and drinking water heating needs in single (existing and new construction) and multi-family houses (existing). The reference load profiles in accordance with VDI 4655 are mainly used for the comparison and benchmarking of different systems. This standard can also be used for simulations and design calculations. The reference load profiles are compiled as standardized daily records accumulated over a 24-hour period in 10 type categories (working day or Sunday, climate assignment winter/summer/transition and degree of coverage bright or cloudy). In the meantime, further detailed measurements have been submitted to the expert committee, which is why the standard has been revised. This involves further measurement data, some with a higher resolution of the load curves, consideration of current weather records, an extension of the scope to low-energy houses and supplementation with PV generation profiles. A large amount of data is available on the enclosed data carrier.
