Overview

This Technical Specification applies to bars made from titanium and titanium alloys. They apply to round, square, hexagonal, octagonal and flat bars with a width to thickness aspect ratio smaller than or equal to 8:1 for unalloyed titanium and low-alloyed titanium materials or 3:1 for high-alloy titanium materials. The strength characteristics and dimensional and geometrical tolerances apply for the dimensions or cross-sections provided in the tables. This standard has been prepared by NA 066-03-06 AA "Titan" ("Titanium") at the Nonferrous Metals Standards Committee (FNNE).
