This document defines terms for the waterproofing of buildings. Standards DIN 18531 through DIN 18535 apply for component-related waterproofing of buildings against water and moisture. This document has been prepared by Working Committee 005-02-13 AA "Abdichtungen für erdberührte Bauteile (SpA zu CEN/TC 314)" ("Mastic asphalt for waterproofing structures in contact with the ground (national mirror committee of CEN/TC 314)") at DIN Standards Committee Building and Civil Engineering (NABau).
